FIELD: laser engineering. SUBSTANCE: laser body is of rectangular section. Axial compressor built in body is used as pumping facility. Extending attachment is coupled to compressor output. Internal face surface of body is provided with profiles forming along with attachment gas flow divider which changes direction of gas flow through 180 deg. External branches of gas circuit are formed by side walls of body and flat panels located in parallel to the latter. Flat panels series-connected by their edges form confusers, electrode plates of gas-discharge chambers and diffusers. Second electrode plates of gas-discharge chambers are secured to internal side walls of body with gas flow in gas-discharge chambers directed in parallel to body axis. Preionizers are mounted in inlet part of gas-discharge chambers in plane perpendicular to body axis. Heat exchange systems are connected to diffuser output. Output faces of heat-exchange systems are coupled to connector which transforms gas flow to common branch formed by narrowing attachment coupled to compressor output and by profiled surfaces of body. Resonator mirrors are provided in corners of body rectangular section. EFFECT: more effective design. 2 cl, 5 dwg
