SUBSTANCE: device has unit, which generates pulses which correspond to position of electron beam on screen of cathode-ray tube, and unit for generation of video signal. In addition device has even-number detector for lines, even-number detector for pulses which correspond to position of beam on screen of cathode-ray tube, and commutator. Output of unit which generates pulses which correspond to position of electron beam on cathode-ray tube screen is connected to first input of commutator, input of even-number detector for pulses and input of even-number detector for lines which output is connected to second input of commutator, which output is connected to input of unit which generates video signal. Output of even-number detector for pulses is connected to third input of commutator. EFFECT: increased resolution, simplified generation and processing of two-dimensional images, for example, number of complex multiplication operations for two-dimensional Fourier transforms is decreased by 25%. 1 dwg
