FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: distal end of rectoscope tube is provided with end-piece for passing the tube through sphincter and anal channel. End-piece is made as funnel with generatrix angle of 5-7 deg. End-piece face surface is cut at angle to funnel axis, as a result of which ellipse-shaped shear with streamlined edges and tongue is formed. Tongue generatrix is inclined to funnel generatrix at viewing angle of 15 - 20 deg. Relation of tongue length to diameter of larger base of funnel in compliance with golden section equals 0.62. Tongue is provided with bent drop-like thickening on projecting part wherefrom the thickening continues along external surface of funnel in the form of guide. End-piece is fixed to tube. They may be manufactured of homogeneous material or of combination of materials. EFFECT: simplified construction, improved operating conditions. 6 cl, 2 dwg
