FIELD: mechanical engineering; welding; supply sources for different hand, automatic and semiautomatic welders which require increased no-load duty. SUBSTANCE: device has welding and auxiliary transformers with separate magnetic circuits. Primary winding of welding transformer is connected to output terminal of network through opposite secondary winding of auxiliary transformer. Primary winding of auxiliary transformer is connected in series aiding with secondary winding of welding transformer. Air gap is made in magnetic circuit of auxiliary transformer. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of operation and enlarged operating capabilities. 2 cl, 2 dwg
