FIELD: chemical technology, inorganic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: method involves interaction of fluoride-chloride solutions with silicofluoride-containing waste at simultaneous increase of pulp settling parameters. Silicofluoride waste from zirconium production is treated with fluosilicic acid at 60-80 C for 1.5-2.0 h followed by treatment with fluoride-chloride solution - waste of zirconium production up to pH = 2-4. Invention can be used for producing potassium silicofluoride and used in technology of silicofluoride compounds producing and sewage treatment from fluoride.
