FIELD: processes for recovering chlorine, fluorine (freons) contained in anode gas, possibly processes for obtaining zirconium and other rare metals. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of bubbling anode gas through melt of waste electrolyte at temperature 720-850 C, feed rate 30-100 m3/m2 in presence of zirconium-containing raw material and graphite refuse.
