FIELD: precious metal hydrometallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, concerns clayey and slime ores with finely dispersed gold. When recovering gold, ore is ground and subjected to cyanidation followed by anionite sorption of gold. According to invention, cyanide solution involved contains 80-120 mg/l cyanide ions and is used at pH 10.7-11.7. Depressing effect of zinc anion complexes on anionite sorption of gold is thus avoided resulting in reduced loss of dissolved gold with liquid phase of sorption tails.
