FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy of non-ferrous and precious metals, in particular, to processing of refractory gold-containing carbonaceous concentrates. Sorption cyanidation of concentrate is carried out with separation of saturated coal sorbent from tail pulp. Tail pulp is subjected to sorption treatment in agitation mode in two stages – in a heated state at temperature 70–90 °C and in cooled at 20–30 °C, duration of not less than 6 hours for each stage. At each stage of sorption treatment, a coal sorbent is introduced into the pulp, which is then processed with extraction of gold and silver.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase extraction of precious metals into a target sorbent at processing of refractory carbonaceous gold containing concentrates.
