PAVEMENT OF RAILWAY CROSSING ON REINFORCED CONCRETE TIES Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: railway transport; pavements. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of plates and parts-liners forming crossing of rail ties. Proposed pavement includes monolithic rubber-based inner and outer plates containing in their central part reinforcement elements made of random rubberized metal cord waste placed in plates without preliminary machining and grinding. Novelty is that rubber part - liners are placed under inner and outer plates of crossing and are connected to form closed structure, thus forming rubber base of crossing. Inner and outer plates are provided with cavities, and rubber parts - liners, with projections registering with plate cavities and serving for fixing the liners and plates and creating monolithic structure of pavement. Rubber part-linear installed under outer plates is placed on inclined outer part of reinforced concrete tie and under rail, while rubber part - liner installed under inner plates is arranged between rails. EFFECT: increased service life and improved state of pavement, provision of comfortable crossing of track. 2 cl, 4 dwg
