FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: according to method, vertical members created in earth are located along object being guarded in rows at distance from each other in each row and with displacement in each row relative to adjacent members of adjacent row. Displacement is to value equal to 0.2-0.8 of pitch of vertical members. Vertical members are made of length H which is determined by relation h ≅ H ≅ 3h, where h - required depth of earth excavation. After creating vertical members in earth, adjacent vertical members are successively interconnected by means of tie-rods which are made to depth which is equal to length of vertical members. When vertical members are made of length larger than required earth excavation depth, tie-rods are made to depth exceeding required earth excavation depth by (0.2-2.0)h. Clear distance between vertical members in row is taken as equal to (0.5-10)d, and clear distance between rows is (1-5)d, where d - maximal cross-sectional dimension of vertical member.
