FIELD: pump engineering. SUBSTANCE: combined gas pumping unit has main compressor with gas turbine engine and a system for utilizing the energy of exhaust gases of the gas turbine engine wherein the turbine, compressor, and electric fan are mounted on the common shaft. Gas is supplied to the heater arranged in the path for the exhaust gases wherein the gas is heated drawing heat from the exhaust gases. From the heater gas is supplied to the turbine wherein it does a work. The turbine sets the shaft in rotation. When the speed of rotation of the shaft reaches a given value the starter is disconnected and the speed of the shaft is maintained by the turbine. From the turbine gas again enters the compressor through air cooler. The ejector is connected with the path for exhaust gases downstream of the heater and with the air duct of the air cooler thus allowing the atmospheric air to be pumped through the air cooler due to kinetic energy of the exhaust gases. The system for utilizing the energy of exhaust gases is charged through the make-up pipe line and valving member. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 4 cl, 1 dwg
