FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: value of complex dielectric constant of bile is recorded within microwave range of emitted signal. Recorded reflected signal bears information on dielectric properties of bile sample and if dielectric constant value is below 17.5, cholelithiasis case tending to further lithogenesis is diagnosed. If dielectric constant value is greater than 18.5, cholelithiasis case without progressing lithogenesis or absence of cholelithiasis are diagnosed. Pre-lithogenic condition case is diagnosed in between said two conditions. EFFECT: simple, accurate, cheap and highly informative method. 1 tbl, 2 dwg
