FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: precipitation time of calcium bilirubinate is determined by bile specimen taking off, specimen centrifugation at 25000g for 1 h, dissolving in bidistilled water and measurement of optical density value in UV-spectrum at λmax = 453 nm. The end point of calcium bilirubinate precipitation granules is recorded by optical density value decrease up to 0.2-0.1 U. Method ensures to detect predisposition to pigment cholelithiasis. EFFECT: improved method of analysis.
