FIELD: medicine, gastroenterology.
SUBSTANCE: for detecting the type of organic calculi one should study a patient's bile due to wedge dehydration. The bile should be pre-dried upon a slide for about 18-24 h at room temperature and minimal air movement. The fascia obtained should be microscoped. In case of black-brown-colored rounded bodies in peripheral fascial area one should conclude upon the absence of a single cholesterol calculus and upon the presence of multiple and/or pigment calculi. Application of the present method enables to increase information value in detecting the type of organic cholecystic calculi.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of detection.
