FIELD: optics. SUBSTANCE: device stabilizing optical image has two single-degree-of-freedom gyros and two mirrors. One mirror is stationary and second one is mounted for simultaneous rotation about two axes, first one lying in plane of this mirror perpendicular to optical axis of device and second one placed perpendicular to first one and perpendicular to optical axis. Gyros are installed to measure angular velocities of turn of device correspondingly about own optical axis and about axis perpendicular to its optical axis. Gyros are connected through control system correspondingly to second and first axes of second mirror. In addition device is inserted with two accelerometers installed on first and second mirrors for determination of angles of inclination of axes of second mirror relative to horizontal plane and connected through switched of stabilization modes to control systems.
