SIEVE SHOE OF GRAIN COMBINE CLEANER Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: carcass of sieve shoe has sides 1, front transverse plank 2 and brackets 3 and 4 for attachment of front and rear suspenders. Transverse beams 10 are rigidly secured to sides 1. Baffle-type mid section 5 is attached to beams 10 by brackets 9 and constant resistance moment pivot joints for transverse movements. Side sections 6 and 7 of sieve shoe are pivotally attached to mid section 5. Fingers 11 are rigidly fixed on sections 6 and 7 in guiding slots of brackets 12 secured to sides 1 of carcass. Constant resistance moment pivot joints are made in the form of frictional plates biased one to the other by flexible member. One frictional plate is attached to bracket 9 of mid section 5 and other frictional plate is secured on transverse beam 10 of carcass. EFFECT: reduced grain loss by uniform distribution of grain heap over surface of sieve shoe, when grain combine works with transverse incline. 2 cl, 4 dwg
