FIELD: metallurgy, more specifically, in-process vacuum treatment of metal in continuous casting. SUBSTANCE: the offered device has vacuum chamber with two branch pipes installed in chamber bottom and worked deeper in hollow of tundish, vacuum line, tundish nozzles installed in bottom of tundish and entering mold, and cross partitions symmetrically installed in hollow of tundish and dividing it into three zones: middle and two extreme, and pipeline connected to one of branch pipes. Branch pipes are installed along transverse axis of hollow of tundish. In this case, width of its hollow in the region of branch pipe location amounts to 1.5-2.0 distances between axes of branch pipes and distance between axes of tundish nozzles.
