FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic steering gear has hydraulic distributor consisting of housing and hollow spool of rotary-and-translational motion type, hollow steering shaft arranged in central hole of spool and coupled with spool by screw drive, planetary hydraulic motor with distributing mechanism, propeller shaft connecting hydraulic motor rotor with null indicator- shaft. Proposed device differs from known ones in the following: to improve reliability it is furnished with second cylindrical pin arranged in radial through hole of hollow spool and in through longitudinal slot of null indicator-shaft, and steering shaft has two through screw slots in which second pin is located. Each second slot on cylindrical surface of spool in hydraulic distributor is provided with through hole opening into central space of spool.
