FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle steering systems. Proposed hydraulically assisted steering wheel contains housing, spool, shaft hydraulic motor and cardan shaft hinge connected by first end with rotor of hydraulic motor and by second end, through cross slot, with cylindrical pin in two radial holes of spool and screw slot of steering wheel shaft. To reduce resistance to turning and eliminate plays in return mechanism of steering wheel shaft, other end of cardan shaft is provided with second cross which accommodates leaf springs with support plates.
