FIELD: transport engineering; steering systems. SUBSTANCE: steering hydraulic gear has inlet line, control line and operating lines designed for connection with actuating hydraulic cylinder, and return line for connection with hydraulic tank. It has also priority follow-up valve with two line for connection with pumps, two lines for supply of additional consumers and one line for connection with inlet line of hydraulic steering gear. Hydraulic steering mechanism differs from known ones in the following: to improve serviceability at transient conditions check valve is provided in priority valve and additional (sixth) line is connected with inlet of check valve and additional fifth position is provided.
