FIELD: transport engineering; hydraulic steering mechanism. SUBSTANCE: steering gear has housing with fitted-in spool. Two pressure, two cylinder, return and additional grooves are made in housing in the following sequence: pressure, additional, other pressure, motor, cylinder, return and other cylinder grooves, providing connection of pressure groove through one of motor grooves with one of cylinder grooves, when spool is moved. Other cylinder groove, through motor groove, is connected with return groove, and with spool in neutral position, both pressure grooves are connected with additional groove. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities and improved reliability. 2 dwg
