METHOD OF LANDING FLYING VEHICLE ON SHIP'S DECK Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: landing flying vehicles on shop's deck in case of motions. SUBSTANCE: method consists in prediction of inclinations of aircraft carrier dangerous for flying vehicle within the time equal to half average period of motions of aircraft carrier relative to axis orthogonal to axial line of landing section of runway and parallel to plane of designed WL. Angles of inclination of ship by stern and by bow are measured at moments of time preceding by half average period of inadvertent process of ship's motions relative to axis perpendicular to axial line of landing section of runway and parallel to plane of designed WL according to moments of fly of flying vehicle over shear of runway and touchdown with runway; the results of measurements are compared with product of critical angles of inclination by bow and by stern by parameter , where ρ(T/2) is coefficient of correlation of inadvertent process of ship's motions. In case magnitude of angles measured exceed the above-mentioned product, landing is forbidden. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 cl, 4 dwg
