FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this can be used in developing steep deposits of small and medium thickness. According to method, mineral deposit is exposed by means of opencast or underground operations, deposit is prepared to mining, formed are rows of supports between hanging wall and lying wall to depth of mineral development. Then, mineral material is alternately broken and lifted to surface between aforesaid rows. To ensure stability of surface in worked-out areas, drilled from ground surface and from underground workings are bore-holes up to aforesaid surface with their subsequent rope and cement stabilization. On completion of work, worked-out area is filled between adjacent rows of supports through entire depth. EFFECT: high efficiency. 5 cl, 2 dwg
