FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: according to method, methane-air mixture is withdrawn from mine and simultaneously is divided by means of screw-type swirler into three streams: with high content of methane (above 80%), enriched methane up to 5% and with low content of methane (below 0.05%). After that, two first aforesaid streams are directed separately by means of system for delivering mixture with high content of methane and by means of diffuser after compression to combustion chamber of gas-turbine engine. In result of combustion of delivered mixture, energy of expanding gases is converted into energy of rotating motion of engine shaft to which can be connected electric generator or other energy consumer.
