FIELD: adjustment of angle of convergence of steered automobile wheels. SUBSTANCE: gear includes loading mechanism and mechanism measuring angle of convergence of front wheels. Mechanism measuring angle is hinged to base of loading mechanism and has frame which ends carry rotary frames with drive from pneumatic cylinders and with hinged contact blocks resting against butt surfaces of hubs of automobile front wheels coupled to indicators. Frame of mechanism measuring angle is joined by two longitudinal rods to basing mechanism of rear axle incorporating crossbar which ends carry rotary levers with cone tips put on them and entering centering holes of half axles of rear axle. EFFECT: increased accuracy of adjustment by excursion of effect of determinations from loading forces and of errors from deviation of basic elements of body, by accounting for deviation of position of rear axle and for misalignment of its half-axles. 4 dwg
