FIELD: power supply lines of railroads. SUBSTANCE: flexible wires from tested object are mounted in device terminals for testing period. Wires may switch terminals of power supply by means of multiple-contact commutator, which contacts are connected to device terminals and measuring circuit of ratio meter. Power supply polarity at each terminal is indicated by means of two pairs of electric lamps which are connected to separate power supply when spring-loaded button is pressed in specific position of commutator. EFFECT: increased quality of testing, decreased duration of operations in hazardous area near railroad track. 1 dwg
