FIELD: electrical engineering; single- and double-pole power supplies for low-power electronic circuits from single- and three-phase supply mains. SUBSTANCE: voltage changer has switch, control unit, ripple and storage capacitors connected in series through two diodes for input voltage of respective polarity. Recharging storage capacitor to ripple one through controlled switch within other half-wave of AC voltage increases output DC current into load compared to input current coming from AC voltage supply. Novelty is that second similar channel is provided for producing DC voltage of other polarity as well as that channels are intercoupled through fifth diode to ensure simultaneous recharging of ripple capacitors of both channels during recharging of storage capacitors thereby increasing output current compared to separate use of channels by 1.5 to 1.8 fold. Proposed options differ in arrangement of control switch circuits using different end-of-charge flags for additional capacitors. In first option, such flag is charge current drop to zero in additional capacitor; in second option, it is appearance of charge current in opposite channel; in third option, switch is controlled depending on polarity of AC input voltage.
