FIELD: heating equipment. SUBSTANCE: device is designed as two electrode cylinders 1 and 5 which are located in coaxial and separated by collar 6. Central cylinder 1 has perforation. Peripheral phase electrode is located inside jacket 7 which is made from insulation material. Ratio of diameters of tube electrodes 1 and 5 is optimal in range of 1.15-1.30 which provides electrode gap 4 for better heating of water flow up to given temperature without generation of steam, water shocks and flow pulsation. When electric heater operates in closed heating system, it provides water flow due to heat exchange of heated water under conditions: resistance is in range of 2000-4000 O, power is up to 4.5 kW, heated volume is up to 250 cubic meters. When heater heats water, it provides output water temperature in range of 20-85 C. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities, increased reliability, increased efficiency. 2 dwg
