FIELD: removal of hair from man's skin surface. SUBSTANCE: safety razor uses a razor holder carrying one or more blade-shaped components installed for movement round the axis that is parallel to the cutting edge of the blade-shaped component relative to the razor holder against elastic restoring forces by means of reaction to the forces acting in the process of shaving. The blade-shaped components are installed for angular movement in the direction of decrease of the angle of attack at an increase of the forces of resistance to the razor movement acting in parallel with the direction of shaving, and have swivel setting means representing pivots provided at the ends of the blades of various components and engageable with the respective recesses provided in the razor holder.
