FIELD: personal hygienic appliances. SUBSTANCE: this is intended for giving pleasant tactile feelings during shaving process and ensuring uniform distribution of forces. Shaver assembly has body which carries blade and elongated protective member located in parallel to blade and in front of it. Protective member is made in the form of cast article created by lower base part of hard plastic material for location close to wall of shaver body over length of protective member, and by upper part made of elastomeric material and having multiplicity of protrusions directed upwards from it to ensure contact with skin surface being shaved. Protective member also has fixing means arranged on its base part for interaction with shaver body and for holding in it. EFFECT: high efficiency. 11 cl, 9 dwg
