FIELD: water treatment. SUBSTANCE: method involves treatment in the presence of active silt and heterogeneous catalytic addition. The latter is polyfunctional catalyst working both under aerobic and anaerobic conditions and containing transient metal oxides and high-pressure polyethylene. Catalyst has the following components, wt.-%: manganese (IV) oxide 23-25; chrome (VI) oxide 3-5; molybdenum (VI) oxide 5-7; nickel (II) oxide 3-5, and high-pressure polyethylene - the rest.
