FIELD: virology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of AIDS virus neutralization by radiation. Viral material is irradiated by the combined light corresponding to electron transitions of magnesium atoms - 516.7; 517.2; 518.2 nm and zinc atoms - 636.2 nm for 30-60 min. Irradiation causes essential alternations of AIDS virus - both in nucleic acids and in an enzyme reverse transcriptase that results to virus inactivation. EFFECT: improved method of inactivation. 1 tbl
