FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: austenite steel has the following components, wt. -%: carbon 0.06-0.10; chrome 19.5-21.5; manganese 10.0-20.0; silicon 0.3-0.8; nitrogen 0.4-1.0, iron and impurities - the rest. Steel has additionally zirconium - 0.003-0.008 wt.-%. Optimal zirconium content is taken according to the ratio: Zr = 3 x 10-3×N-1, where N - nitrogen content.
