FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: steel contains (in % by mass): carbon 1.03-1.27; manganese 7.5-11.4; silicon 0.4-1.0; chromium 0.2-2.2; copper 0.15-0.5; molybdenum 0.02-0.45; vanadium 0.03-0.25; calcium 0.001-0.008; nickel 0.3-1.0; iron - the balance. The proportion of components meets the equation (20·carbon - 20)2+(manganese+choromium - 1367)2≅ 16 . The wear resistivity of steel castings is increased by 30-40% . EFFECT: increased wear resistivity of steel casting; increased period between repairs; reduced consumption of casting steel. 2 tbl, 1 dwg
