FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine has cylinder, piston with cylindrical shank at side of crankshaft, ignition, exhaust and piston cooling systems. Piston cooling system is made in form of bushing with space and liquid heat carrier inlet and outlet lines. Bushing is movably engaged with piston shank. Bushing is connected with cylinder by means of bridge with channels. Channels are connected with main lines by flexible inserts. Lower end of shank is split and contains bushing for fastening connecting rod pin. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 1 dwg
