FIELD: heat engineering, in particular, alumina production; may be used in heating and cooling of pulps and solutions. SUBSTANCE: heat exchanger of double-pipe-type consists of several heating and solution chambers 5 and 6 joined coaxially with the aid of circular inserts and made in the form of tube plates. Tube plates have additional coaxial holes 12 round the hole for internal heat exchange tube. Holes 12 serve for liquid cross-flow in plate-sides of neighboring chambers. In this case, holes 12 are located only in contact part of surfaces of tube plates that prevents infiltration of liquid from plate-side to tube-side of chambers. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 dwg
