FIELD: geophones, applicable for operative information of population on parameters of earthquake and prediction of earthquakes. SUBSTANCE: seismic instrument has a control unit, connected to which are a switch, power source and output of a transducer of mechanical movements of the seismometer pendulum to an electrical signal; the control unit outputs are connected to the transducer of mechanical movements of the seismometer pendulum to an electrical signal and to the audio signal generating unit to feed the supply voltage, and the acoustic radiator is connected to the output of the audio signal generating unit. The seismic instrument may also use a unit for manual selection of audio signals, light signalling unit, computer with a display connected to the instrument in a definite way.
