FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device being human phantom has human organ imitation members produced from tissue-equivalent material. Three kinds of materials imitating lung, soft and bone tissues are applied. The materials contain elements in the amounts close to those naturally present in living human tissues. Lung imitation materials are provided with foam-like structure relative to alveolar part. Ion interchange resin is applied as radionuclide absorbent agent. Radionuclide carriers containing radionuclide absorbent agent are integrated with some or other human organ imitation members. To imitate individual specificity of human individuals radiation absorbing screens are used. It results in increased accuracy of graduation. Method for producing human phantom involves preparing mixture from selected ingredients, placing it in mold, performing hot molding under pressure and assembling the phantom from the so produced imitation members. The mixture is prepared from base ingredient with additives and fillers, radionuclide absorbent and dyes. Filling agents are introduced into mixture as phenolic plastic and/or aminoplast prepared by using the agents as base. The alveolar part of lung tissue imitation members is foamed in advance in preselected mode. Imitation members have element composition and structure being as close as possible to those of natural tissues and distinguishing in high strength and advantageous manufacturability properties.
