FIELD: transport engineering; folding rear seats. SUBSTANCE: folding rear seat has cushion and backrest with fixing device for coupling with body installed for hinging forward in "pack". Cushion in its front portion is hinge coupled with body, and in rear portion is hinge coupled with backrest through hinges consisting of fixed and movable members. Movable member is made in form of toothed pair of links with external meshing. First link is rigidly secured on backrest, and other link is hinge mounted on fixed member provided with slot. End of second link engages with horseshoe-shaped lock rigidly secured by welds to vehicle floor. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 3 cl, 4 dwg
