FIELD: motor industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for adaptation of adult three-point safety belt to use by child. Device comprises belt, which passes from point at height above passenger seat adult arm to point of attachment, attached to vehicle frame, and lock fixed on frame on opposite side of passenger seat from point of attachment, so that belt can be pulled down through passenger to engage with lock, thus retaining passenger with help of loose section and waist belt section. Device comprises pad for seat with side locks for engagement with safety belt and lap to retain it at bottom of the child's feet, and strap secured on said pad for seat and having clamp at its far end, strap extending child, and clamp for engagement with belt to clamp, passing from drum, to lower down throw-over belt section over arm of child.
EFFECT: simplified and compact design is enabled.
