FIELD: petroleum processing. SUBSTANCE: invention may be applied in the processes of dewaxing and deoiling of petroleum products in lubricating oil and paraffin production. Invention is distinguished by stepwise mixing of paraffin-containing raw material with cold solvent in multisection vertical apparatus imposing pulse action on whole volume of raw mixture filling the apparatus thereby providing reciprocation of the mixture in intersection overflows, into which simultaneously cold solvent, filtrate solution or their mixtures are continuously supplied. Raw material entering apparatus is mixed with raw mixture taken away from the section of apparatus wherein temperature of raw mixture is by 3-5 C higher than that of beginning of paraffin crystallization in the mixture. Paraffin suspension obtained is additionally cooled to temperature of separation and, the latter operation completed, solvent is recovered from separation products.
