FIELD: chemico-thermal treatment of metals and alloys, namely, diffusion saturation of surface layers of hardened parts of machines with various chemical elements from solid phases. SUBSTANCE: powdery mixture from which applications of specified form are pressed out is prepared. Applications are put on area subjected to saturation. Cyclic heating by high-frequency currents is conducted to obtain close contact of application to surface and part is displaced with reference to applications to soften their inner layers. EFFECT: improved operational efficiency of process.
