FIELD: construction industry, in particular, device for controlled passage of people in two directions, used for different buildings and constructions. SUBSTANCE: tourniquet has fixed body, cross-piece mounted for rotation on body and provided with pin. Cross-piece is formed as disk with guarding bars. Cross-piece rotation mechanism has cam mechanism with spring-biased roller pusher, whose many-sided cam is rigidly fixed on cross-piece pin. Slots are made between apexes of many-sided cam, with angular spaces between slots being equal. Number of slots is equal to number of guarding bars and width is less than diameter of pusher roller made from resilient material. Retaining mechanism has two drives, each having two stable positions and connected with reciprocating tie-rod with retainer made in the form of peg mounted for engagement with slots in disk cross-piece and movable in accordance with motion of tie-rods.
