FIELD: mining; applicable in erection of permanent support in driving of mine workings, and for material handling operations. SUBSTANCE: support erector of the boom-type consists of a bracket, boom main body whose rear end is located in recesses of support erector, boom telescopic part, extensible hydraulic jacks, changeable extending spacer with hydraulic grip hinged to the end, hoisting and turning hydraulic jacks, support erector boom and boom turning mechanism relative to longitudinal axis. Bracket is connected to mounting plate by means of cardan joint that allows its turning in horizontal and vertical planes with the help of hydraulic jacks symmetrically located on two sides of bracket. Hydraulic jacks are connected to mounting plate by means of cardan joints and to bracket they are connected by simple single hinge. Main body located in bores of bracket is turnable relative to the longitudinal axis with the help of support erector. Turning mechanism has hydraulic jack for changing its position relative to longitudinal axis of hydraulic grip of support erector and also to mechanisms of limited turning relative to its longitudinal axis that provides for installation of support frame successively from separate members and perform material handling operations.
