FIELD: fiber-optical engineering. SUBSTANCE: transducer has two units interconnected by light guides. First unit includes piezo-resonant member, first photoreceiver, light-emitting diode, and positive feedback amplifier the power supply circuit connected to first photoreceiver leads. Amplifier output is connected to light-emitting diode, and piezo-resonant member is inserted in positive feedback circuit. Second unit has pulse radiation source, second photoreceiver and amplifier. One of light guides connects output of pulse radiation source to first photoreceiver input, and the other light guide connects light guide output to second photoreceiver input.
