FIELD: prevention for long time of plug shutting off volcanic channel from destruction by explosion and prevention of volcanic eruption. SUBSTANCE: spatial position of gas-saturated part of volcanic channel is established with the aid of complex of geophysical studies using parametric holes, special control holes are drilled which faces are communicated through artificial jointing with gas-saturated part of volcanic channel, controlled release of gas through holes is conducted keeping energy and pressure of gas compressed under plug to avoid destruction of volcanic plug or roof of volcano in order to maintain equilibrium state in volcanic channel and in magmatic point for unlimited time.
