FIELD: illumination equipment. SUBSTANCE: method involves welding pins with electrodes, current terminals and stem into ends of glass rectilinear tube, tapping one stem, mounting and heating this end of tube and bending tube so that angle between vectors of discharge tube is in range of 0-180 degrees. This provides convenient access to second stem through which all necessary operations are performed. Resulted discharge tube is designed as either flat or spiral axis. This design of discharge tube helps in manufacturing of luminescent lamps which connection unit is suited for different types of illumination equipment. EFFECT: simplified manufacturing, decreased cost of manufacturing of discharge tube, increased field of application of small-size luminescent lamp. 21 cl, 8 dwg
