FIELD: commercial fishing. SUBSTANCE: method involves manufacturing grading screen by molding it from composite material; making all components integral with one another, with homogeneous continuous unidirected material being used as composite material reinforcement providing for strong adhesion with matrix of composite material; prior to carrying out molding process, preparing mold with cavities corresponding to shape and sizes of grading screen; sequentially filling cavities with said stiffener and composite material matrix and molding prepared material with formation of radial bosses at screen component junction sites. Fibrous material is used as composite material reinforcement and polymeric materials are used as composite material matrix. As modified embodiment, molds with replaceable inserts-conductors of different width may be used for manufacture of screens with various spaces between longitudinal binders or prefabricated longitudinal binders made by the same technique as screen. Method is used for manufacture of trawl screens employed for grading fish catch inside trawl during trawling. EFFECT: increased strength, resiliency and form stability of screen, simplified and compact construction and improved corrosion resistance of grading screen. 5 cl, 10 dwg
