FIELD: virology, agriculture. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of preparing the virus vaccine preparation of cucumber green rugose mosaic. Vaccine is prepared by infection of cucumber growing seedlings at the stage of 1-3 true leaves with the virus diluted suspension at concentration 10-3-10-4 mcg/ml. Then plants were grown and the infected symptomless plants were selected using serological tests. Sap is obtained from plants, heated at 60 C (to coagulate plant proteins) and the preparation is isolated by precipitation with ammonium sulfate, applying the precipitate on paper filter and virus washing out. Preparation can be used for protection of plants from viral epiphytoty of this virus. EFFECT: improved method of preparing.
