FIELD: mechanical engineering; particularly certification of measuring heads of multioperation numerically-controlled machines. SUBSTANCE: device consists of ring with magnetic members situated in the ring and aligning bar with retaining members. When the device resides in the tool magazine of the machine, the ring remains fixed on the aligning bar. When the device is put into working position, it is in the spindle off the machine. After the device is introduced into the working zone of the ring, it is supplied with compressed air and the ring comes free. Besides, creation of air cushion between the aligning rod and the ring results in centering of the ring. When the ring is brought to the machine table, the ring is fixed on the table in specified coordinates. After certification of the measuring head, control of the article and final check of the measuring head the device is taken away. EFFECT: improved accuracy of machine operation. 7 dwg
